Achyut Palav School of Calligraphy holds it 1st exhibition & launches its website on 23rd January 2010

The Achyut Palav School of Calligraphy, which was established in the mid of 2009 is celebrating the spirit of calligraphy in a unique way. It is holding an exhibition that will showcase the works of its students from various batches. This exhibition, which is a part of the CIDCO’s Navi Mumbai Festival, will prove to be an excellent platform for Calligraphy students. It will also bring Navi Mumbai into limelight. The exhibition spans over 4 days, from 23rd January’10 to 26th January’10. It will be held at the Deck Level of the CBD Station Complex & will be open for public viewing from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the above dates. The new website of Achyut Palav School of Calligraphy, www.apsc.net.in will be launched in the same event in a small ceremony at 6:00p.m. on 23rd January’ 10. CEO of BASF Mr. Deepak Tushe will launch this website.

The enthusiastic & creative students of the school of Calligraphy have fashioned beautiful projects. Along with these projects, the exhibition will display various applications of calligraphy on papers, fashion garment & accessories, jewelry, items of interior décor like upholstery, covers & unique artifacts like lanterns etc.

The special features of the event are the workshops for schoolchildren. The visitors will not only get to view the exhibition but also get basic information on calligraphy & can witness live demos by the students. There will also be films showcasing various ventures of Achyut Palav & information on calligraphy.

Achyut Palav School of Calligraphy has been bringing calligraphy & the beauty of Indian scripts to the masses through seminars, workshops & demos. It is a must view for all.
